The property was built in 1896 as a boarding house for lumberjacks. The building was completely renovated in 2021, but it’s history is embraced in period design touches to highlight the building’s history combined with modern comforts. For example, the original floors throughout the Inn came from sawmills just a few yards away on the banks of the Blackwater River, when Davis was a booming logging town over 100 years ago.
